COLD STONE OPEN SPECIAL EVENT

The Cold Stone is a special event that takes place on June 3rd at Talking Stick Golf Club. The Cold Stone Creamery sponsored event will include a stroke play tournament, putting, chipping and closest to the hole skills challenges and a Junior Demo Day sponsored by Callaway Golf. SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The LPGA Foundation announces 2010 scholarship opportunities for female high school seniors who have played golf during high school.

Three scholarships are available through The LPGA Foundation for female high school seniors planning on attending an accredited college or university and they are:

The Marilynn Smith Scholarship, The Dinah Shore Scholarship and The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship.

The Marilynn Smith Scholarship will award five scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each;

The Dinah Shore, one in the amount of $5,000;

The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship will award one in the amount of $1,250. The Phyllis G. Meekins scholarship will be awarded to a young woman from a recognized minority and this scholarship is need-based.

2010 MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
(December 28, 2009)
The following steps have been provided to assist enrolling as a new member in 2010 or renewing your previous membership. The yearly membership for new and returning members is $25.00 which includes a gift from the LPGA National Headquarters.

1. If you are a returning member, please log into the Player's Club with your existing ID and password at the bottom of the front page. All new and returning members must have a NEW signed Activity Application on file before being approved for membership and receiving membership benefits. A new form must be resubmitted each calendar year.

2. If you are a new LPGA-USGA Girls Golf member please enroll as a NEW MEMBER. You will be sent an ID and password via email. Please use a parent email address that you will be viewed regularly. Once assigned, you may change the password by accessing the Players Club and making changes under "my account". You may not enter an event without your ID and password.

3. You must have a signed copy of the Activity Application on file prior to participating in any event. To download and print the Activity Application CLICK HERE This form may faxed to 602-944-7795, emailed or sent to 10888 N. 19th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85029.

April 17th - Easter Tournament , Ken McDonald GC
May 8th - Mother-Daughter Tournament, Moon Valley CC, Moon Walk
May 28th - Team Best Ball, Sun City CC
June 3rd - Kick-Off Tournament, Talking Stick GC
June 4th - Clinic with First Tee of Phoenix, site TBD
June 7th - Mid Season Tournament, Mountain Shadows GC
June 12th - Father/Daughter Tournament, Palm Valley GC
June 17th - 3 & 6 hole players at Mountain Shadows Golf Course for the JGAA Thunderbird Classic
June 21st - Summer Sizzler Tournament, Starfire GC
June 28th- Club Championship Tournament, Encanto 9 & 18
August 14th - The First Tee of Phoenix Monsoon Shootout
August 28th - TBD
September 11th - Back-to-School, Mountain Shadows GC
September 25th - A Walk in the Park, PV Park GC
October 22nd - Haunted Golf, Moon Valley Moon Walk
November 20th - Thanksgiving Team, Bear Creek GC

ARE YOU READY TO PLAY IN THE CADDY DIVISION?

The minimum age to participate in the Caddy Division is 5. For a description of each of the 7 divisions, please read the "About Us" section.
If you are uncertain if your daughter is ready to play in the Caddy Division, please download the Course-Ready checklist . If you do not have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, it can be downloaded for free at Adobe's website.
